With young children   and Magnetic Island known to have death adders , a family  bought  two American  Thanks Giving Day type- turkeys as an unusual   form of protection   after being told they attack the  small , hard to see serpents. Shock! Horror!..A large  python from nearby bush swallowed   one  of  the  turkeys .
