MISSING MAN MYSTERY

A private investigator  is seeking the whereabouts  of a well known  Magnetic Island  resident   who  has  not been heard of since  early December .  Armed with a photograph of  the missing person , in his  50s, the private eye  has been  going about the island asking  people if  they know this man . Many have replied in the affirmative , he often seen at the ferry terminal , walking and cycling  about the island .   It is understood he was  to have   flown to Canberra , did not turn up and has not  been heard  from .  His  mother , in her nineties , raised the  alarm . His  island  residence is  empty.
