China is to congratulated for landing an exploration craft on the dark side of the Moon for the first time. However , this blog has the first startling photographs which clearly reveal there is life on Earth's nearest neighbour .
While floating about the grounds of the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery centre at Bullocky Point, the same day that news broke that the Chinese had landed on the far side of the Moon, our resident space explorer took stunning photographs with his powerful zoom lens which illustrates the stygian scene there.

On closer examination , it was surprising to see a sign in English stating it was a Lunar Image , made in 1980 by abstract steel sculptor Inge King (AM) , born into a prominent Jewish family in Berlin 1915 , who came to Australia in 1951.
