Usually seen cruising in Tahitian waters , the 134 metre vessel can carry 148 guests across four teak decks .
Apart from the striking craft attracting much attention , so too were the large numbers of bats flying about the waterfront and city. It seemed as if the bats , in groups numbering more than 500, were attracted to the masts as potential resting places for freeloading stowaways to just hang about .
