NEW KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH

 Darwin's  metal detecting fraternity and  friends   are  abuzz  with  the  news  that  an  intrepid  searcher- eager  to find  the   Australian equivalent  of  a Saxon treasure  trove - has   found  $750  worth  of   coins  in  one   location .  Meanwhile , on  Magnetic Island , without  the  aid of  a  metal detector , a resident  related  to  Darwin detectorists   found  a 10 cent  coin on the ground  while  waiting  in  a   queue  to  be  tested  for  Covid -19 , hereinafter to be called  Treasure  Island  or  Oak  Island .
