Birds of  prey-Kookaburras and Crows - have been spotted ; a  dreaded Barking Owl ,whose  "appalling nocturnal screams  " resulted in it being  known as  the Screaming -woman  Bird and the Murderbird  was  heard early  one  morning , causing  a  rapid  rise  from  bed .
