The latest old house barged to Magnetic Island for a new life is shown on site in Horseshoe Bay . From Bayswater Road ,Townsville, it was transported in two pieces aboard the barge . It has been jacked up slightly ,before being placed on piers . Another old house , mentioned in this blog, restored and added to at Horseshoe Bay , sold quickly , a garden springing up . A large old house from Ingham is being restored in Mandalay Avenue, Nelly Bay.
