Over the years, this blogger collected old photographs on all kinds of subjects in New Zealand and Australia , one group relating to weddings , featuring many brides, sold to an Australian institution.
Unfortunately, the bride in the above shot was nibbled by silverfish .
Sadly, in many, many instances, the people in the photos were not identified , or just carried a Christian name . A woman in Adelaide who had no family photographs used to buy old pix of people and pretend they were her ancestors .
