Police conducting breath tests on Magnetic Island pulled over a woman with a passenger - a wallaby stuck up her T-shirt . The observant officers noticed the critter , gave it the once over . Both passed the test . It seems the driver had been to see a well known island wildlife carer with the wallaby , and had decided to bring it home . The wallopers reportedly thought it was cute.
In other island nature news , Torres Strait Pigeons have started flying in from up north , according to the Queen of the Jungle , who has heard their distinctive calls . Young Curlew in between drinks below.
