Little Darwin's resident backyard Curlews have produced two more chicks (above ) overnight . Meanwhile we continue to be hissed at by the Curlews in the front with two eggs next to the driveway .Two black cats have been seen running about the drains in Nelly Bay for months but the Law of the Bungle seems to operate in wildlife and civic circles and nothing has been done to eradicate them . One of them now has a damaged eye . Last night a cat was seen running away from near the bird below .
