DAME EDNA IS NOT AMUSED

People  arriving  at  Melbourne Airport  from North Queensland  hailed a taxi and asked  to  be taken  to  Moonee  Ponds . "Where is Moonee Ponds?" the  driver  asked . Passengers  had to show the driver the way to the famous suburb which  is seven kilometres from  the CBD.  Makes you wonder what qualifications you need to be a taxi driver  as  this  not an  unusual experience , with  similar anecdotes  from  Brisbane and Darwin .
