JULIAN ASSANGE CASE

 There is  talk  that  attempts are being made in Townsville   to arrange     John Shipton ,   father   of  incarcerated  Wikileaks   founder   Julian  Assange ,  to   visit   Magnetic Island .  North Queensland . Julian  spent   time on the island with  his  single mother   when  he  was a  young  boy . There is a strong group of Assange  supporters  on the island  who recently held a  public demonstration  calling  for him to be  freed -bring him home- from the British prison  where he  is held , fighting   extradition to  the  USA on espionage charges .
