A yacht beached at Horseshoe Bay, Magnetic Island ,above , attracted much attention, but apparently was not noticed by the mainland media . Then a fire reduced it to a total wreck . Photos by Lady Byron.
The yacht had been displaying an official sign declaring it was abandoned and that it would be impounded the day on or after it was destroyed by fire last week , polluting the beach and surrounds . Mainland media missing in action yet again . .
