MILITANT, WISE SEAGULL SPREADS SAVE THE PLANET ACTION PLAN

The  world's most famous seagull, Jonathan Livingston Seagull ,has been  flying over  North Queensland spreading the powerful   message  for Australians  to be  tough-minded about the   bushfires  and get rid of the  small-minded flock of buzzards  endangering  the nation and the  planet  through  their  blind  stance against  climate  change .

The seagull was named  after  test pilot John H. Livingston, employed by the Waco Aircraft Company ,  who died of a heart attack  at the age of 76  after  flying an  aerobatic home-built Pitts Special .

The book Jonathan Livingston Seagull  began as a series of short stories in Flight magazine in the l960s  and developed into a  fable in novella form  by Richard Bach , illustrated by Russell Munson . It became a best seller , made into a film .

Taken to another plane , Jonathan was  exposed to the  teachings of the  wisest gull, named  Chiang , and was  empowered  to  fly anywhere in the world , inspire  gulls  outlawed  on  Earth  for  non conformity .

A  gutsy  75 year old woman, concerned  about the future   of  the  planet  and  children , protesting  about  the proposed   Adani   coalmine, caused a flap  recently when she  chained herself outside the Adani office in Townsville  and was charged with obstruction after  police cut  her  free .  In the Townsville Bulletin's poorly laid out text the editor  section, much used by rednecks , boofheads  and  drones , repetitive ones obviously  writing from the same guide sheet ,  it  was said  the woman should go back to Brisbane  and   do  something useful  with  her  life .

Over Norwegian  sardines on toast ,   Jonathan Seagull  told our Shipping Reporter , in Molly Malone's Irish Pub, he intends  pecking  out the eyes of the  person who posted this jibe under  the  name Kim , who sounded as  if she was   from  the  Kath and Kim show . If there is one thing  Murdoch media loves , from Darwin  to Sydney,    it is  having a go at them thar  bloody  southerners . It strikes a real accord  in  Queensland, where bone-headed  Joh-thinking  still   holds  sway  in  certain  backwaters  and  is  force  fed  by  the  Murdoch  blats,  which  fan   division  and  the  flames  of  discontent.

The Bulletin reported that   Adani  had been "slapped"  with  a  $20,000   fine  for  " a  land clearing  error " at  its  Carmichael mine . The paper also recently ran a report saying  some right wing   pollie was "standing tall "  supporting  Adani, etc. Presumably  anyone against , seagulls included ,  lacks  backbone , is a limp midget.
