CURLEW ABLUTIONS

Little Darwin's resident  Curlew family caught taking an early morning  drink and  swim, a surviving  chick , right, waiting  to  hop in  . Going to sleep at night  with a wax-filled ear half  tuned to any sounds that indicate the chick is  in danger  has taken its  toll  on this  old  blogger . Marauding possums, hissing   and   assorted  strange sounds  have repeatedly caused  running about the yard   late at night , through cobwebs , on wet grass ,  with  a   torch . Dreaded Barking Owl  heard  at  times .
When is it my turn to jump into the deep ?

Shake, rattle and roll .

Feel refreshed  now  after a  dip.
