COCKEYED CORFLUTE COMMENT

Erroneous text message  ( there are many )   in the  Townsville Bulletin claimed that on Magnetic  Island many political  posters were  vandalised, except  for  Labor and the Greens -another reason not to vote for them , said  a person identified  as    R. G.

Well , Raving  Gnu  or  R. G. Menzies ,  old   wilful   waffler , this  is  the  true  situation.

The corflutes  of  all  parties  have been  attacked , as Little Darwin reported to our  global audience.  However in the  case  of  Labor  and  the Greens , they went   about  quickly  replacing   ones  pulled  or  damaged.   In  the case of  the    LNP ,  it was clear   it  did  not  do  a  daily check  and  replacement  of  its  posters . It  got to  a stage  where  this  Labor  blogger   picked up   a   double sided  LNP   poster  for Phillip Thompson   on  the side   of the road   and  gave it to an old friend on the island , a known  LNP voter, ex-Navy , who  had  played footie in Darwin , knew  the late  and great editor of the   Northern Territory  News , Jim Bowditch. It  is  now  positioned  on   his  front lawn- a reason  why  you  should vote  for  Cathy O'Toole  of  the  ALP  and   the   Greens .
