NO HELLISH SETTING FOR DEVIL'S MARBLES IN CENTRAL AUSTRALIA

Recent heavy rain in Central Australia  and down through the  channel country of  Queensland has   greened  much of the   countryside .  Correspondents   currently   driving  from   Townsville , on water restrictions ,   to  Darwin , via    Mount Isa ,  report  that  the  inland  was  a  picture due  to recent  widespread  rain .
 
 
At  the Devil's Marbles , above,  south  of  the mining town of  Tennant Creek , in the  Northern Territory , pools  of  water were  found, one shown below .
 
 
Abundant  water  was also encountered  , below , at the   man-made  Lake Mary Ann , 5kms north of  Tennant  Creek .
