The
Federal Government’s plan to present each
household with a special Christmas gift - a desiccated possum in
a box - has upset
Santa Claus. The strange gift was the bright idea of the Liberal animal expert,
Cardboard Banality. Little
Darwin was given an
exclusive viewing of
the surprise gift package , see above, which includes an
autographed copy of the Coalition’s election policy REAL SOLUTIONS FOR ALL AUSTRALIANS , harder to understand than the Dead Sea Scrolls . National Party farmers clubbed and
dried out the possums for the special treat. However, Santa , a foundation member of the RSPCA, took one horrified look at the possums in the boxes and refused to deliver them ... and was
sacked. Reindeers also took fright at the sight of the pulverised
possums ,bolted and scattered presents far and wide ,so that many children will get nothing in their stockings .
