HOUSTON : CURLEW HAS LIFTED OFF

 Overnight, our  resident backyard   Curlews, with a clutch of two eggs ,  moved  to  a  new  position , indicating  new  arrivals .  The  male  bird  was  photographed  standing   guard  , then  two  chicks emerged .
