Versions of The
Last Supper seen
during a sojourn
in Italy last year may have
inspired
Darwin artist, activist ,
poster maker, Chips Mackinolty’s contribution , with artist Therese Ritchie , in a
powerful exhibition highlighting
the plight of so many
Aboriginal people with kidney
disease on dialysis machines . Called
Get Well Soon ! A Diagnosis , it shows some prominent
Australian Federal politicians - PM Abbott , John Howard, Julie Bishop, Joe Hockey ,Clive
Palmer and Christopher Pyne - Andrew
Bolt, Gina Rhinehart , Cate Blanchett , Paul Kelly , Cardinal George Pell , the NT Chief Minister, Adam Giles
, hooked up to dialysis machines.
