This crazy situation has been going on for months without the dynamic Townsville flag waving media , which loudly proclaims it has its collective digit on the pulse of the region , catching on .
In Darwin , a similar extensive line of banners to these on Magnetic Island was erected on the border of a proposed subdivision , facing a major highway , seemingly without any problems , despite strong storms .
