Born during the current heatwave , the latest Curlew chicks are bracing for wet weather , nearby Rain Orchids covered in a mass of white flowers , an indication of a downpour within days . Already there have been two weather alerts accompanied by strong winds and little rain . Chick takes shelter under mother's wing below .
