Suddenly spotted fluttering about and heard making its distinctive "Coop , coop" or "Book, book" calls in and near the Little Darwin thistle and prickle plantation is the Coucal, top , also known as the Swamp Pheasant and Swamp Cuckoo . Literally hanging about are scores of noisy Lorikeets after blossoms.
