One of Australia's most interesting barber shops , packed with a wide range of militaria , is up for sale , minus its fascinating collection . Known as the Military Barber, Townsville , it goes back 70 years and is on the market for $25,000 , ONO . Our Shipping Reporter had his thinning locks cut there over the years and took photographs of the collection , which included what appeared to be Portuguese riot shields used in East Timor . Outside the shop was a large wall mural , below, reflecting the strong American involvement with Townsville during WWll.
The collection has been taken away and stored in Townsville.
