Prolific artist , Chips Mackinolty, has provided the above
artwork honouring Brian’s contribution to the East Timor struggle and the Gurindji people . The service will be held on Stokes
Hill Wharf, Darwin , presided over by Thomas Mayor , NT Branch Secretary of the
Maritime Union of Australia . Instead of flowers, the family has
asked mourners to donate to a fund to restore Brian’s old Bedford truck so that it can again take a leading part in May Day celebrations. People are coming from near and far to attend the large service .
