Trees blown down at the front of Townsville's Anderson Botanic Gardens Conservatory during an electrical storm early on New Year's Day. Elsewhere fronds, coconuts and fruit in the Tropical Orchard were blown about. Groups of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos were seen enjoying some of the tasty windfall.
