NEW ZEALAND BRACING FOR DEBBIE FALLOUT

Auckland : Heavy rain   from ex Cyclone  Debbie  which  battered   Queensland and   NSW   is  expected to  add  to flooding   in  parts of  the North Island , Ramarama in  particular  , where   people  were  rescued midweek .  It has been reported that  there  are  70,000  wooden   houses   built  in  the  floodplains   about  Auckland. Our correspondent   in  Auckland   says the city  and surrounds   have  been warned to expect heavy  rain from  the   former   cyclone in the  coming  two  days .
