In yet another waterfront scoop, our Shipping Reporter, the only one in North Australia , says the two bird scarers on the Townsville Water Police command vessel Brett Irwin survived the strong winds generated by Cyclone Debbie . However, the owl is now under shelter , sitting on top of a wheelie bin at the stern , no longer in that dangerous spot on the open rail.
