TURNBULL'S ROAD TO RUIN

After  her  star performance  churning out the brilliant , best selling  thriller  about  the  crash of Tony Abbott , author  Niki  Savva , left , seen here on the  ABC Insiders,  will undoubtedly soon be burning the midnight oil  pounding out the sequel, which  will probably reduce  her manicured  nails  on  her  flashing   fingers to   the  quick.

There are  many signs  and  growing  talk  that Turnbull could  lose the  phoney election or end up with a hung parliament , so  Savva  will  be on  another   political   winner .

Consider , dear reader,  these  interesting  regional  landmines   and  pointers  which will affect the election :

*The day before our born   again  in   yet   another portfolio Treasurer Scott Morrison was  due to  deliver  the  Budget , it  was clear  he could  not  count  properly  on  his  fingers, which might  lead to a dreaded  black  hole somewhere in the  figures.

* In  Queensland , the Liberal National   coalition is imploding , Lawrence Springborg's leadership under challenge ( more juicy bits to come  from the  Queensland  parliament ) ;  calls  for  sacked  former Turnbull cabinet minister in the Sunshine State , Stuart Robert, to be disendorsed  on the eve of the federal election  over revelations some $70,000 out of Robert's branch funding arm , the  (" Artie"... not a State of Origin player  ) Fadden  Forum was  directed  to three  so called     independents  in the   recent  local   government elections , an LNP state director  demoted  as a result ; questions being asked about  possible  LNP   funding   for other "independent "  civic  candidates .

*In New South Wales there is still that little problem of the more than  four million bucks  being held back from the Liberals because  of  irregular tranferring  of  funds  to dodge the law .

* In Victoria  former Liberal  Premier  Jeff  Kennett has been making  strong statements against negative  gearing  and  Turnbull's stance on the issue .

*The majority of Taswegians, it has already been  shown ,will get sweet Fanny Adams  out of  the  Budget , not enough even  to  make your own cider out of windfall  Granny  Smiths .

* Savva's Road to Ruin  revealed that  Nationals' leader Barnaby Joyce  backed Turnbull  for the PM's job  as long as he did not go in hard on  global warming. Surprise , surprise. Turnbull  government  and  Murdoch's  Daily   Slapstick  and Flummery Telegraph came out  a la  the  Mad Monk   deriding  Opposition Leader  Shorten , as shown on  the  ABC.

And  just to make sure you got the message , the paper followed  up with this little   gem of  high class Australian journalism and  contribution  to  democracy .
In  another literary  scoop ,   we  understand   Malcolm Turnbull  has been secretly  commissioned to write  how he saved The  Spycatcher  but  was himself held  to ransom by  Goldfinger  and  his wood, coke , coal  and  oil  henchmen in the Coalition , which will  be  an epic , tragic  document .
