The above album appears to have been produced for a concert at Narromine, NSW, attended by thousands of Allied prisoners of war , possibly l947. It contains 24 of their most popular hits and is in the latest list from Douglas Stewart Fine Books, Melbourne, $275 ,sold quickly .
A presentation copy, the colour pictorial wrappers were designed by ex- Changi POW, Bert Gay West .There are musical annotations for songs written in Changi , with brief biographies and photos . It contains a foreword by the Commander in Chief of Prisoners of War, Brigadier Gallaghan.
In addition, there is a history of the AIF Concert Party in Singapore , a list of the Malayan Concert Party members and associated English artists .
