CLIVE PALMER IN ISLAND HOTEL CHINESE TAKEAWAY ?

For some  time  now  it  has  been  whispered  that  the  Arcadia Hotel  on  Magnetic Island  is about to be sold .  Recently , people  who  rent  space  at  the hotel  to sell  fine   Indonesian  and  Thai  tucker  several nights a week  were  given  a  month’s notice .  The  latest  word  is  that  there  is  a  potential buyer   who  sees  the  popular   two   outlets  as  competition  for  the  hotel’s  own  bistro.  Who , islanders asked,  could  the  buyer  be?  One comedian suggested it is Clive Palmer  , who  will  open  a  large Chinese restaurant .
