SUNBIRDS LOOK AT NEW HOME SITES

Despite  having the old nest  they  seemed  to be refurbishing  knocked down by feathered marauders ,such as Currawongs, Crows or  Kookaburras,  a  pair of  Sunbirds  are  showing signs of  getting on  with the construction of another  home. The  slight remains  of  the  old  nest  that hung down under  a  veranda  roof   are   inspected in  the  following  photo by  Vallis .

A  possible  nearby  site  for  a  brand  new   nest  , close to  a wetsuit   and  a   wind  chime ,  was   examined   carefully .

A  hook from which a  potplant   once hung, was   also  given  an upside down inspection  .

Behind or inside  a metal cage  could provide  protection from those large home  wreckers .
