THE ADVENTURES OF BAZA MCKENZIE WHO WEARS AN UNUSUAL FEATHER IN HIS CAP

 


Unique in Australian birds of  prey in that  it  has a crest  , this  Crested Hawk,  more commonly known as a  Pacific Baza , mainly eats large insects, lizards and mice.   It  is grey brown , with  bold  brown and white bars on  the breast.  Distributed in northern and eastern Australia.
