JAPANESE WARRIORS CALL TO SAVE PLANET-NOT THE TASTY LAST SUPPER

At Townsville's largest  combined birthday party at the weekend  ,where there was only one cake and one candle, peanut butter popular,  a Little Darwin roaming correspondent , a vegan , produced the unusual above badge from a Japanese  vegan cafe in Kyoto, where he had dined.  Tech savvy , he got his smart  phone to translate the badge and the action  figures came alive , spreading  various  messages in respect of  veganism , touching on saving  animals, water ,  soil   and  the   planet.

Our  correspondent is a great fan of Japan ,where he has been on several occasions , and would dearly like to live  there . In Townsville, from Melbourne , he installed a security system  in   his  mother's house , and one day while the  front  gate  was open to allow car access , his computer warned him Santa  had  just driven by on a motorbike!  Sure enough , there was the jolly bloke on a Harley riding by. Our correspondent , who has a way with animals, also rescued a  largish stray dog, carried it a long distance to his mother's home, and  using his computer skills  soon  located  its owner .
