QUEEN AND PRINCE ANDREW SNUBBED : S(H)IPPING REPORTER EXPOSES MEDIA OUTRAGES

It is hard to fathom  the workings of  Townsville  media , especially the Murdoch owned  Townsville Bulletin, soon to have another editor  and  hopefully get some much needed  wind  in  its  tattered sails  , when a famous  Jewish  beauty , Queen Esther , above, painted in 1878 by Edwin Long   and  lodged in  the National  Gallery of  Victoria  , came  into  port  with  her  retinue and  nobody from  the  press  gang  notices.
The royal yacht  Queen Esther, above , tied up in Townsville,  the  queen's  extensive  wardrobe  piled  high  in  many  shipping  containers .

Some readers of the Townsville  Bulletin became strangely seasick when  the paper   ran  a  story , offering free   popcorn as well ,  about  an attempt to get Prince Harry  come to  the Queen City of the North  when he was visiting Australia . It featured  a cut out of  Harry  in freshly starched  uniform being  flown over  Townsville  . It got a   run  by  other  local  media outlets , who took  the   bait  hook , line and  sinker .    His  highness   did  not   respond .

Recently Prince Andrew  visited   Australia  and  , for some unknown reason , the Bulletin  , Townville Enterprise ,Uncle Tom  Cobley et all  did  not combine their creative  juices  to  repeat the stunt  with a  cut out of  Prince  Andrew. This surely  will   be seen as   another royal snub ,   Prince  Andrew, the grand old   Duke of York ,  not considered  worth  the  cost of  the  cardboard.
