While attending the recent Cairns ECOfiesta in the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal , Little Darwin came across a demonstration of Flyboarding which wowed onlookers. The exhaust from the jet boat driven up the tube elevated the rider who delivered a spectacular performance ; taking a dive , he emerged from the water holding a selfie. The festival , with more than 100 stalls , brought together the environment , community and the economy in one special event . In attendance were representatives of local wildlife attractions , organisations which take action to protect the environment, information on better water usage , prevention of the spread of noxious weeds . New products were displayed and food samples offered . One stall was run by the ALP . Recently the Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN) , which is increasing activities in North Queensland , opened a new branch in Townsville .
