Apart from working as a scribe in Darwin , he was known as Bookie Blake at the Fannie Bay Racecourse ; he and wife ,Claire, reside in Manhattan . New York recently reverberated to the 50th birthday bash for Sharon Bowditch, members of the Darwin Bowditch clan in attendance. Well known former Darwin journalist Frank Alcorta ( see Chamberlain post below ) notched up his 76th.
