MORNING AFTER PENNY DROPPED

Vallis  photographs of   Magnetic Island  after good rain from ex-Cyclone Penny   include  wallabies  sunning  themselves  on  leeward  side  of  rocks ,  sheltered  from  strong  wind .

Wafting about the  island  was  the heady aroma  of  stinking   green  algae , a  sign proclaiming it is a seasonal event .
