A chance encounter on the car ferry from Townsville to Magnetic Island resulted in this story. One of the cars aboard the vessel was the above distinctive 1950s Riley in British racing green .The owner , on his way to the island to attend the wedding of a daughter, one of twin girls . He said he has another Riley undergoing restoration and eventually each of his daughters will be given a Riley .
