This is the burning question after this blog's scavengers found yet another dump where crutches galore
are seen , as
shown in this photograph
taken at
Townsville . Footwork by our team discovered that
throughout Australia where there
is a large public hospital crutches in vast numbers end up at the local tip . Why ? Surely crutches are reusable . If damaged ,
men’s sheds could probably fix them and they could be recycled locally or
sent to Third World countries . While fossicking about the Darwin Dump Shop some time
ago this blogger found stacks of crutches.
