Proof positive that Little Darwin and Admiral Harris form a powerful nautical force that gets things done is the sudden clean up of the Townsville civic pride waterfront . Admiral Harris , recently appointed US Ambassador to Australia , was so upset about the Townsville situation that he drew up plans for Marines from Okinawa to storm the beaches of the Queen City of the North and erect the Wally World flag over the Townsville City Council soundproof bunker .
This blog exclusively reported from Hawaii , angry Admiral Harris , muttering a threat to put somebody's "ass in a sling " , said the Coral Sea anchor and the Victory in the Pacific Memorial Fountain had better be fixed up before he would accept the position as US Ambassador to Australia .
Our eagle eyed S(h)ipping Reporter says not only is the fountain working but the bus shelter has been wiped clean , along with the rude comment about Donald Trump . In the case of the Coral Sea anchor , it has been attended to , the rusty American steel covered up , and the plaques can now actually be easily read . The old corroded ones may have been replaced with new ones or been touched up with abundant council white out .
