A surprise visitor on Good Friday , while washing was being resurrected , was a friendly young Magpie which flew down onto the line and seemed to want an Easter egg. It remained there while some bits were hastily pulled from a hamburger bun in the kitchen and offered up.
It had a few pecks and hung around for a long time, then flew away, with a squawk , possibly someone's pet as it was so tame . Vallis pix.
