A strange , hard to read warning ,above, was found on a Townsville boat ramp by our floating Shipping Reporter . Placed on what could be mistaken for a folded body bag , was a clear warning to stay off a boat. It seemed to be aimed at a certain person who had a tattoo , perhaps a dog, or was branded a dog by the angry boat owner. It went on to say that if he ventured aboard again he would end up crab bait! Nearby screeching flying foxes in the mangroves added to the threat . There were two large boats moored nearby.

Our waterfront rounsdman said the ramp is in a pleasant location to make crab bait and wash away the incriminating evidence. |
