An exhibition in Townsville's Perc Tucker Regional Gallery, above , celebrates the work of all women artists with an aim to enhance understanding of their contribution to Australia’s cultural life. It is a touring exhibition by the National Gallery , following a major two-part exhibition by the NG of Australian women artists.
Recently Douglas Stewart Fine Books , Melbourne , put out a large special list on Australian Art , with prices ranging from $15 to $27,500, which included rare books on Australian women artists , including Margaret Preston, Janet Cumbrae Stewart , Clarice Beckett, Barbara Hanrahan, Agnes Goodsir and others.
