SNOW FALLS IN THE TROPICS

Brisbane recently had  the  lowest  temperature in 100 years .  Further  north, at Magnetic Island,  off  Townsville , there was even snow.  A wildlife carer  known  as  The  Queen of  the  Jungle   came  home  to  find  snowflakes  scattered about her  house- Larry  the  talking  Lorikeet  had  been spending  all day  chewing  pieces  out  of  a  white  polystyrene storage box . As  you can well imagine, the  Queen  was  not  amused . Larry ! she yelled . Street ,tree and   catamaran - wise Larry had decamped from the scene of  the  crime  when  he  heard  her   drive up  to  the  house .  Located  in a   dark corner  on  the  verandah ,  he  sheepishly  responded ,"Bugger !"

Lover boy Larry on  a tropical snowfield  kissing  the  hand of  a   snow  bunny.
