The answer : Tom Roberts' pastoral oil painting A Mountain Muster , which sold for a then auction record of $442,500 in 1995, ending up in the National Gallery of Victoria . Sir Keith originally bought the painting from the estate of Roberts' sister-in-law and subsequent owners included Alan Bond .
