CYCLONE TRACY AIRLIFT RECORD

The  Guinness  Book of  Aircraft  Records  and  Feats,  l992, sixth edition introduction  stated   that  the   old  record  of  674 passengers  carried  by  an  airliner - 306 adults , 328 children and  40 babies – from   Darwin  after  Cyclone Tracy  had   been  bettered . In   1991 , an  El Al Boeing 747 , evacuating  Falash  people from  Ethiopa , had  uplifted  in  one  flight  1087 people , including three onboard   births.
